Il manico del pennello nasce da uno stuzzicadenti: con un taglierino ho reso più sottili le estremità, poi con della carta vetrata sottile ho limato via le imperfezioni.

For the brush handle, I used a toothpick. I used a knife to make the ends thinner, and sandpaper to even it out.

Ho spuntato le estremità e limato con la carta vetrata per arrotondarle...

I cut out the ends of the toothpick and sanded them to make them roundish.

Ho dipinto il manico con della china diluita, poi ci ho passato dello smalto trasparente per renderlo lucido.

I painted the brush handle with diluted indian ink and coated it with clear nail polish to make it glossy.

Per le setole, ho usato un vecchio pennello da trucco e una vecchia parrucca di Carnevale (parte del mio costume da Barbie di quando avevo otto anni

).
Le ho ritagliate e fissate ad un'estremità con qualche goccia di Glossy Accents.

For the brush bristles, I used an old make up brush and an equally old wig (straight out of my 90's Barbie costume!

). I cut a few strands and fixed one end with a few drops of Glossy Accents.

Per la parte di metallo (come si chiamerà?) ho usato una teglia usa e getta (sono favolose!) e della carta d'alluminio (solo per i pennelli più piccoli).

For the... metal thingy (how is that even called?) I used a disposable pan (love these - they're absolutely fabulous for miniature making!) and kitchen foil (for the smaller brushes).
